April Kumapayi is a first generation Nigerian American. She works in the nonprofit accounting industry in the Madison area.

Outside of work, April is involved in the community. She served on the Executive Board of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals for four years; two years as Vice President and two years as Treasurer and now volunteers as a general body member of that organization.

 

April currently serves as the Treasurer of Black Girl Magic Educational Services, Inc. In her spare time, April enjoys cross-stitching.
