We hope everyone is having a great start to the school year! Black Girl Magic is excited to start programming again and seeing our girls! September has gone fast, and we have had a great time so far. Mrs. Rosa took a group of girls to interview members of the UW Women’s Basketball team.

Summer is winding down, and with the school year starting, we are excited to return to monthly programming! Black Girl Magic Saturdays are starting this month, and we are preparing for the beginning of our after-school groups at local schools. We look forward to seeing our Black Girl Magic girls form a sisterhood with each other and connect with their facilitators this school year.

Summer continues to fly by! We hope you all are having a wonderful summer. Black Girl Magic has had a great summer! In July, we took time off to spend quality time with our friends and family, which was much needed! We returned to host our first (but not last) trivia fundraiser event, which was really fun!
