Rachelle Stone has spent the past 16 years in public education, teaching various grade levels within MMSD (Madison Metro School District). Rachelle currently works at Leopold Elementary School as an Instructional Coach, supporting PreK-2nd educators to build transformative relationships, interrogate curriculum, and establish conditions for restorative and liberatory classrooms.
She is the Program Manager for Black Girl Magic Educational Services Inc, a non-profit organization supporting Black and Multiracial girls in and around Dane County. Rachelle firmly believes that Black girls deserve spaces that are fully their own to form community, experience joy, and be their most authentic selves.
Outside of public education work, Rachelle is a co-creator of the Black Education Network and Sole Sistas, both organizations providing spaces for Black and BIPOC communities.
